Thermal conductivity coefficient of cannabis – experimental results
Petr Kučera, Jaroslav Řehánek
In this article, there are shown experimental results of thermal conductivity coefficient values of cannabis and its dependence on density, moisture contents by weight and temperature. It is material produced by processing technical cannabis. Board shaped products are treated with soda based chemicals with both, binding and antibiocid effect.
Joints and their influence on the vapor diffusion
Lenka Hybenová
The following paper contains analysis and determination of diffusion conductivity of leakages, which are created in joints of corrugated steel sheets and titanium-zinc sheets by means of 2D and 3D simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics software.
Realization and Quality of Buildings, their use
Designer’s supervision versus author’s monitoring – part 1
Josef Smola
What is the difference between author’s supervision and monitoring? Does an author have a legal option to enter the construction site to monitor the construction works? What are the rights and responsibilities of various actors during control activities?

Architecture and Energy Savings
Traditional and modern ways of moisture reduction in historical buildings’ masonry
Michal Balík
Selected most appropriate remediation method for reduction of moisture contents by weight of historical construction monuments’ masonry must take into account particularly historici buildings’ requirements, mainly choice of materials, preserved architectural elements, or to protect orginal materials. Examples of masonry remediation of listed buildings.

The Green Savings Programme
Examples of reconstructions that met conditions of the New Green Savings Program (NZÚ)
Jan Antonín, Zdeněk Ročárek, František Duda, Petr Kotek
Which buildings can receive grants from the Green Savings Programme, amount of the grants and what technical details cover the energy audit? Part A in this article covers the specific questions (building’s envelope rennovation). A sample of 16 family houses that comply with all the required conditions of the New Green Saving Programme from 2013 is further described in this article.

Materials and Products for Buildings
Is it necessary to insulate socle in buildings with no basement?
Pavel Heinrich
One of the most discussed structural details is a concept of socle. In principle, a non-insulated socle became a synonym for formation of a thermal gap, ie. high risk of mould creation in the inner corner between a floor level and a wall. Reaching the low energy consumption of building and equally for the reason of minimum thermal heating losses, a significantly thick floor insulation is being used, ie. 200 mm. What is a reality?

Calcium silicate insulation interior, the second breath for historical buildings
Aleš Břenek
The paper describes the process of energy redevelopment of South Moravian Museum in Uherske Hradište, which was implemented in 2013 using capillary active system of internal insulation without vapor barrier, built-on-insulator Multipor for internal insulation WI.
